    Hello Aparna,
    I celebrated with Meru Samana by TNS with Lalgudi on the violin. By the way, you won’t scare us by doing that!

    @Rukesh,

    ‘Shauk hai’ is a new song from Guru. This song was there in the movie but was not released during Guru music release. Now recently, this song is all included in the album. A fantastic song.

    @Aparna,

    Started the day with our Thalaivars first song ‘Chinna Chinna Aasai’. It still sounds fresh and new πŸ™‚

    Sriram,
    Yeah it’s a lovely composition! πŸ™‚

    Rukesh,
    Girish has answered your question. Shauk Hai is the one that comes in the background in the scenes featuring Madhavan and Vidya Balan.

    Rukesh, Nithya & Voltfarce,
    The full-length 4 minutes+ song has now been released by Sony as a part of the CD “Greatest Hits of A.R.Rahman”.

    Girish,
    I want to listen to Chinna Chinna Aasai now! πŸ™‚ Has been a looong time since I listened to it!

    A wonderful day it was for sure. I put 2 music sessions with my friends online, each lasting for nearly 4 hours. I celebrated the day listening to a wonderful sahAnA RTP sung by TNS..amazing πŸ™‚

    I never knew there was a “World Music day” until I landed onto your page.. for sure the great business folks will commercialize this by next year like they did for the valentines day, mothers day etc.. πŸ™‚

    Sivakumar,
    I am surprised the shops aren’t already commercializing this day! Btw, all the radio stations seemed to be talking about World Music day only on that day.
